Jack Daniel's Seattle Kraken Sweeps Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States residing in the state of Washington or Alaska to participate. Sweepstakes void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes starts on September 1, 2024 and ends on Feb 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm PT.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter via wireless text messaging, during the sweepstakes period, send the letters JDKRAKEN to 68405 from your 2-way text messaging capable wireless phone. Once you send the text message, you will be prompted to enter your date of birth. You must be at least 21 years of age to participate. After your age is verified, you will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes. Entrants will be charged their text messaging rate for each text message sent or received through their handset according to the terms of their Wireless Calling Plan. Text messaging and wireless services are not available in all areas.
Alternatively, you may enter by going to www.jackdaniels.com/en-us/JDKraken and completing and submitting the online form you will find there. Limit one entry per day, per person regardless of method of entry.
All entries must be received on or before February 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm PST.
ELIGIBILITY: Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in Washington State or Alaska to participate.
DRAWING: Prize winners will be selected in random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about February 3rd 2025.
PRIZE: One (1) set of four (4) Kraken Hockey ice level tickets to the Kraken home game on TBD vs TBD. This includes a penalty box pre-game experience for four (4) people valued at $500. Plus one (1) autographed Kraken NHL Jersey. Guests of winner must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to sign a similar release. Please note that airfare or accommodations are not included.
Total Approximate Retail Value: $1,850.00
If due to a printing, production, or other error, more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified and validated prize claims received for that prize level. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
Beverage alcohol is not part of the sweepstakes prize. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Winner Conditions. Sponsor will notify potential winners via direct message or email on or around February 3rd 2025. Potential winners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release Form (except where prohibited) and W-9/tax paperwork (collectively, “Winner Form”) before receiving the Grand Prize or the Runner-Up Prizes (collectively, the “Prize”). If a potential winner fails to respond, or fails to execute the Winner Form or refuses to do so within three (3) days of receiving notification from Sponsor, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion and time permitting, disqualify the potential winner and select a replacement. The Prize is not transferable or assignable. Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. No substitutions of Prize will be allowed, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winners shall be solely responsible for all taxes associated with the Prize. Sponsor shall not reimburse the winner for any costs or expenses associated with participating in the Sweepstakes or accepting the Prize, except as expressly stated in these Official Rules.
Winner Publicity Release. By accepting the Prize, you grant permission to Sponsor, Jack Daniel’s, Brown-Forman, and to their respective affiliates, licensees, and assignees, including but not limited to Seattle Arena Company, LLC and Seattle Hockey Partners LLC (“Licensee Parties”) to use your name, likeness, other personal characteristics (including personal social media account details), and Prize information for any purpose, including advertising and marketing materials, worldwide, in perpetuity, and in all forms of media now known or later invented without further compensation, and you waive all rights to notice or approval of such uses.
Participant Indemnity and Release. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Licensee Parties harmless against all claims related to: (1) your participation in the Sweepstakes; and (2) your acceptance of and use of the Prize. You also agree that the Licensee Parties are not responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries resulting from your participation in the Sweepstakes or from your acceptance and use of the Prize.
Neither Seattle Arena Company, LLC nor Seattle Hockey Partners LLC is a sponsor or administrator of the Sweepstakes but may partner with Sponsor to provide promotional support.
Errors. Sponsor is not liable for typographical or other errors in these Official Rules, the processing of Entries, in winner selection, notification, and announcements, or in any other material related to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, network failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to any systems associated with the Sweepstakes.
Lost, Late, or Incomplete Entries. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, stolen, garbled, or misdirected entries, messages, emails, or mail, including, without limitation, Entries that are lost or incomplete due to computer or electronic malfunction or due to issues with internet connectivity.
Participant Information. When you enter the Sweepstakes, you may be required to provide certain types of personal information, such as your name and email address. You will be providing your personal information to us. Your personal information will not be sold to third parties. Your personal information may be shared with third parties as necessary to administer the Sweepstakes; in addition, it may be used for other purposes as further described in our Privacy Policy. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to such sharing of your personal information. Your personal information may also be used to contact you in connection with the Sweepstakes in a variety of ways, including via direct message or email. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to receive such communications.
No Waiver. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any part of these Official Rules shall not constitute waiver of that part.
PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).
WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the winner, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Jack Daniel’s Seattle Kraken Sweepstakes Winners List, Red Moon Marketing, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226 before March 30, 2025. Do not send entries to this address
