Jack Daniel's Ultimate Race Experience Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in any of the 50 states or District of Columbia (“D.C.”) to participate. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or restricted by law.
SPONSOR: Brown-Forman, 850 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40210 and its Jack Daniel’s brand (“Brand”) (collectively, “Sponsor” or “Brown-Forman”) is solely responsible for all aspects of this sweepstakes.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: September 2, 2024 to October 20, 2024. All entries must be received by October 20, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST (“Sweepstakes Period”).
HOW TO ENTER: To enter via wireless text messaging, during the sweepstakes period, send the letters JDRACE to 68405 from your 2-way text messaging capable wireless phone. Once you send the text message, you will receive a link. You must fill the form on the link to be entered into the sweepstakes. Entrants will be charged their standard text messaging rate for each text message sent or received through their handset according to the terms of their Wireless Calling Plan. Text messaging and wireless services are not available in all areas.
Alternatively, you may enter by going to https://www.jackdaniels.com/en-us/Ultimate-Race-Day and completing and submitting the online form found there. The information consumers provide will only be used for participation in the “Jack Daniel’s Ultimate Race Experience” sweepstakes and for any future communications, should you opt in.
Limit one entry per day, per person, regardless of method of entry.
All entries must be received on or before October 20, 2024 (11:59 pm EST).
ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, as well as the advertising/ promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of wholesale or retail licenses are not eligible. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States, residing in any of the 50 states or District of Columbia (“D.C.”).
DRAWING: Prize winner(s) will be selected in random drawing(s) from among all timely received eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about October 22, 2024.
PRIZES: There will be one (1) total Grand Prize awarded:
A Grand Prize to a winner consists of (2) 3-day Grandstand Tickets (Friday-Sunday) to Vegas Race Weekend on November 21 - November 24, 2024, roundtrip coach airfare for two (2) to/from a major commercial airport nearest to Winner’s primary residence to race city (flights may include stopovers and/or connections), and two (2) nights standard room, double occupancy hotel accommodations (room and tax only). Ground transportation, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, service charges, food, beverages, merchandise or any other expenses not specified herein are not included and are Winner’s sole responsibility. If actual value of Grand Prize is lower than the stated ARV when Grand Prize is procured and fulfilled, the difference will not be awarded. Winner will be required to provide hotel with a credit card at time of check-in to cover incidental fees/damages, along with complying with any requirements mandated by the hotel’s management. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize rize is $15,000.00 value in dollars. The Grand Prize will be sent to the Winner either digitally or by mail. In the event the Winner resides within two hundred and forty (240) miles of the race city, ground transportation to/from race may be provided in lieu of air transportation.
Beverage alcohol is not part of the sweepstakes prize. All federal, state and local taxes on Grand Prize is the sole responsibility of Grand Prize Winner. No substitution or transfer of Grand Prize offered or permitted. No transfer of Grand Prize to a third party is permitted and Grand Prize cannot be redeemed for cash value, except by Brown-Forman, who reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute Grand Prize or a portion of the Grand Prize for a prize of comparable or greater value. Limit one (1) Grand Prize per person/household. The Potential Winner(s) will be notified via the contact information provided at time of entry. Winner (and guest) must be at least 21 years of age. Unclaimed Grand Prize may not be awarded. All fees, federal, state, and/or other expenses relating to the use, acceptance and possession of Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of Winner. Taxes are the responsibility of Winner. An IRS form 1099 will be filed in the name of Winner for the retail value of Grand Prize.
Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary and dates determined by the Sponsor or forfeit all rights to Grand Prize. Certain restrictions may apply. Airfare, hotel and other accommodations are subject to availability. Winner acknowledges that the Race is beyond the control of Sponsor and Prize Provider and is subject to being rescheduled, modified or canceled. If the Race is postponed, canceled or has not occurred, no compensation or substitution for the Race portion of the Grand Prize will be provided. Winner and guest must comply with any security procedures or measures imposed by Race Weekend personnel and/or its representative(s). Sponsor, Prize Provider and/or Race Weekend personnel/representative(s) each reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend or cancel Winner’s and/or their guest’s attendance at Race due to non-compliance with any security procedure, venue requirements or inappropriate behavior or misconduct. Grand Prize Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining proper documentation (i.e., valid government issued photo identification, passport and/or visa) prior to travel. Winner’s guest must be 21 years of age or older and will also be required to complete and return an Affidavit/Release (as defined below) prior to travel. Arrangements for the fulfillment of Grand Prize will be made by Sponsor and/or its designated agents. Sponsor and Prize Provider will not provide travel insurance for Winner or guest nor for any missed flights or any circumstance that may prevent Winner and/or guest from traveling to/from Race Weekend.
NOTICE: Potential Winner(s) will be notified on or after October 22, 2024. Potential winners will have four (4) days from date of notice (“Designated Period”) to accept the prize. If a winner does not accept the prize within the Designated Period, he/she must forfeit the prize and alternate winner(s) may be selected. Alternate winner(s) may have a varying time to accept the prize(s).
Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor McLaren Formula One Team accept any liability for any expense, damage, loss or injury suffered (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way due to entering this promotion or taking up a prize. The Promoter and McLaren Formula One Team are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.
CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential winner(s) may be required to provide a mailing address to receive prize or prize information. Potential Winner(s) may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Guest of winner must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to sign a similar release.
By accepting his or her prize(s), the winner(s): (a) releases Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation. Proof of identification and age verification will be required.
PRIVACY: Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, your contact information and any other information submitted by you, or collected by Brown-Forman, in connection with this sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the Brown-Forman’s privacy policy (https://legal.brown-forman.com/privacy-policy/english).
WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the prize winner(s), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Red Moon Marketing, Attn: “Jack Daniel’s Ultimate Race Experience Sweepstakes ” Winners List, 7804 Fairview Road, Box #309, Charlotte, NC 28226, before November 15, 2024. Do not send entries to this address.
