Buy A Barrel FAQs
The Personal Collection program invites you to personally choose your very own barrel of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey and have it bottled. Not only do you select your whiskey’s desired flavor, but all the bottles can be personalized. It’s as close as you can get to having a barrel of Jack Daniel’s made exclusively for you.
Every purchase of the Personal Collection program includes:
Barrel yield will vary depending on the expression and from barrel to barrel. Please speak with your local representative for more information.
- Custom personalized medallions will accompany your order. These are intended to adorn each bottle. .
- Some expressions will also include gift cartons as an option.
- A decanter kit will be included with each Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select and Rye and Travelers Exclusive Personal Collection order. Decanter kits are not available on orders for Canada or Turkey due to customs regulations.
- Customized barrelhead is included with JDSB Select, JDSB RYE 94 proof, and JDSB Travelers' Exclusive. A barrelhead is not available for Canada orders due to customs regulations.
- An original (unfinished) whiskey barrel is available as an option with each Personal Collection purchase of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye.
There are three ways you can make a selection:
SELECTED BY DISTILLERY - One of our Master Tasters will select your barrel.
PROFILE SAMPLES - We’ll send you tasting samples representing three distinct flavor profiles: Sweet Forward, Flavorful & Balanced, and Full-Bodied & Robust. Once you decide on a flavor profile, we’ll select a barrel with whiskey that matches your selected profile
IN-PERSON VISIT TO JACK DANIEL DISTILLERY (minimum 30 days notice required in order to provide live samples). Individuals will have a tasting with one of our Master Tasters or Brand Ambassadors, private tour of The Jack Daniel Distillery, and a unique Southern dining experience Miss Mary Bobo’s Restaurant..
Cost varies based on barrel yield and the local price of the product.
The Single Barrel Personal Collection Program is available to those of legal age in most countries.
Only for certain whiskey expressions (see below). For all others, you will receive a barrel head to commemorate your purchase (excludes Canada purchases due to customs regulations). You may separately purchase an empty barrel directly from our Barrel Shop.
- Barrels are not available for export.
- Barrels are NOT available for JDSB Select and/or JDSB RYE (94 proof).
- Barrels (used, unfinished whiskey barrel) are available as an option for Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof RYE (USA only).
How you choose to make your barrel selection and shipping schedules in your area will determine when you will receive your Personal Collection bottles. Other factors may include the expression (type of whiskey) and the medallion approval process.
