About the writer/director

Janlatae Mullins is an award-winning writer, director and producer based in Atlanta, GA. As a strong believer in the power of collaboration, Janlatae’s ability to develop honest performances and capture those performances in her unique visual style makes her a true storyteller and master of bringing her vision to life. Brought to life with the help of executive producer Maxie McClintock, her short film Soul Fire is a timeless story of love and loss with messages that extend far beyond race, age and the cultural landscape of today.

Janlatae has helmed several critically acclaimed independent short films and has spent time producing independent feature films and commercial content. We’re excited to share her story and gift for storytelling.
